Why Melania stopped at one child with Donald Trump

Melania Trump stopped at one child with husband Donald Trump knowing “how busy he is”.
This is despite the US presidential candidate wanting more children with her, the former First Lady explained on Fox News on September 26 ahead of the release of her memoir.
“I was always perfectly fine with one. And Donald was encouraging [us] to have more,” Melania revealed.

“And I said, like, ‘I’m completely fine with one because it’s [a] very busy life,'” she continued.
“I know how busy he is… and I’m in charge of everything. So that’s why. It’s just perfect,” she added.
Melania and Donald married in 2005 and welcomed son Barron the following year. Barron, who is now 18, is currently attending New York University.

While Melania stepped back from her career after welcoming her son, she soon returned to work, launching her own jewellery line.
“I think it’s very important that we show our children that we are working too, “she said. “To give them an example [of] how life is, that they see us, that we are productive, that we have ideas, that ideas come to life.
“And, that’s how I was showing Barron.”
Melania is step mum to Donald Trump’s four children from previous relationships – Donald Jr, 46, Ivanka, 42, and Eric, 40, from his marriage to late wife Ivanka, and Tiffany, 30, from his marriage to Marla Maples.

Melania said the blended family works with respect and love.
She advises “to take [an] individual as they are”.
“You cannot control anyone. You could control only your own behaviour, your own words. Everybody is in control of [their] own self. I’m not in control of my husband. I’m not in control of his children. I’m not even in control of my child. He’s his own person.”
“We all have yes and nos. And we are all individuals. Once you lead your life with respect and love… that’s all [that] matters,” she added.
Melania said it was Barron’s decision to study in New York and live at the family’s New York residence. The family maintains residences in New York and Palm Beach.
“It was his decision to come here that he wants to be in New York and study in New York and live in his home, and I respect that,” Melania said.

The proud mother describes Barron as an “incredible young man”.
“His strength, his intelligence, his knowledge, his kindness. It’s admirable. He’s enjoying his college days. I hope he will have a great experience because his life is very different than any other 18-, 19-year-old child,” Melania said.
Little is known of Melania’s memoir, which is due to be released on October 8. Donald, the Republican nominee for the presidential election on November 5, recently admitted he hadn’t yet read it, saying he’s been “too busy”.
At a political rally in New York he said: “Go out and get her book. She just wrote a book. I hope she said good things about. I don’t know, I didn’t, so busy.
“She just wrote a book called Melania. Go out and buy it. It’s great. And if she says bad things about me, I’ll call you all up and I’ll say, ‘Don’t buy it. Get rid of it.'”
